The third painting for the Pot man series was inspired by the thought that when giving a gift card how far can you go without being too cheeky. I thought that I I could go far enough to put a little smile on some ones face and so the Cactus seemed like a good subject to paint out this idea.

The final printed greeting card comes in two versions one as you see and the second with the print overlay ‘You Prickle My Fancy’. Funnily enough the second seems to be most peoples favourite.
