The thought of my mother inspired me to paint the poinsettia plant for the fifth image in the Potman series. The Poinsettia is remarkable, vibrant and quite special.

Typically the plant is red and is given around Christmas but this poinsettia is pink and is applicable to give to someone special on any occasion.
